Investments in Automotive, Energetic and telecommunications sectors in Mexico will reach historical levels by the end of 2015.
Secretary of Tourism estimate that there will be moving 8.4 million Business Travelers by the end of the year, national and foreigners. That will generate a higher investment in infrastructure, hotels and convention centers to attend demand. This will reflect the strength of Mexican economy and according to specialists, could attract more investments.
Business Tourism consists in travels to manage and concrete commercial opportunities, relations between institutions and consulting.
Grupo Posadas, one of the biggest hotel chains in Mexico, informs that this market represents 70% of its total occupation in this country. Marriott, for its part, has plans to extend their offer with the opening of 6 hotels.
Aeromexico affirms that 80% of their subscribers in the Frequent-flyer program, are business travelers, and their subscriptions number increase by a 19% since 2013.
The most benefited cities by Business Tourism are: Mexico City, Queretaro, Monterrey and Guadalajara.
Business travelers in Mexico City will represent 40% of the total tourism by the end of 2015.
